Melody became very excited about the Music Together^® experience as she searched for appropriate music education for her newborn child. Through many smiles and a lot of dancing, Music Together became a big part of family life.

Melody King has been teaching music for over eleven years. She is a classically trained violinist and violist having graduated from Butler University. Melody has taught privately, at a Home School Learning Center, and at The Orchard School in Indianapolis, IN; where she was the orchestra director and general music teacher. She has been a member of AOSA (American Orff-Schulwerk Association) and IMEA (Indiana Music Education Association). Melody has performed with the Butler Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Stanley DeRusha, as well as, The Carmel Symphony Orchestra under the baton of David Bowden. Melody has a true passion for music and is excited to bring that to Hamilton County.
