Hi! We’re so glad you’re here.

We’re Julia and Marc — husband and wife, musicians, and the co-creators of Music with Melody.

The idea began over the holidays, while spending time with our nieces and nephews. We played them some of our favorite songs — rock, jazz, folk, and everything in between — and before long, the living room had transformed into a full-blown dance party (as it should).

Later that night, we got to talking. About how rarely kids are introduced to the full range of music. About how sheet music has all but disappeared from early learning. And how powerful it is to understand not just how music sounds, but where it comes from, who made it, and why it matters.

We wanted to create something that invites people — kids, families, the musically curious — to slow down, tune in, and explore. Something tactile and thoughtful. A letter in the mail, once a month, that introduces a new song, a new genre, a new way of listening.

Our lessons aren’t meant to teach everything all at once. They’re meant to spark something — curiosity, creativity, connection. A trampoline into deeper learning.

And as musicians, we believe in the magic of learning to read music early. Because once you start to see notes on a page as stories, a whole world opens up.

This is music you can hold in your hands. And we’re so excited to share it with you.
