Hi! We're Julia and Marc, a husband and wife team and the creators of Music with Melody.

We started Music with Melody because we believe music should be something everyone can enjoy, explore, and teach. We also wanted to create an affordable, delightful, screen-free way for families to bring more music education into their homes - no music degree required.

Instead of an app or a video series, we created a monthly letter. Each one explores a single song — its history, its story, the people behind it — and invites kids (and adults!) to listen and learn little more deeply.

Every lesson is created from scratch. We're intentional about the songs we choose each month, typically centering each lesson around a seasonal mood or moment. Our hope is that the songs you encounter day to day carry a little more weight and meaning.
